Welcome to ANGELA LOVES RUNNING

If you’ve found your way here, chances are we already have something in common.

We love running.

Not because it’s always easy. Not because every run feels amazing. And definitely not because we never question our life choices halfway up a hill.

We love running because of what it gives us.

For me, running has been many things over the years.

It’s been stress relief after a difficult day.

It’s been confidence when life felt uncertain.

It’s been community, friendship, challenge, and sometimes simply an excuse to get outside and clear my head.

Running has also taught me patience.

As a Sports Therapist, I spend a lot of my working week helping people recover from injury, rebuild confidence, and return to doing the things they love. Yet when I suffered a fracture myself recently, I found myself learning those same lessons all over again.

The long road back to running fitness isn’t glamorous.

It’s made up of small runs that feel harder than they should.

It’s celebrating tiny milestones that nobody else notices.

It’s trusting the process when you’d rather be chasing personal bests.

And it’s remembering that progress isn’t always a straight line.

This blog is where I’ll share that journey.

There will be stories from my own running adventures, thoughts from my work as a Sports Therapist, practical tips on staying healthy and recovering well, and hopefully a reminder that you don’t need to be the fastest runner in the group to call yourself a runner.

Whether you’re training for your first 5K, chasing a marathon PB, returning after injury, or simply enjoy moving your body outdoors, you’re welcome here.

So thank you for reading.

The shoes are laced up, the blog is live, and the next chapter starts here.

Angela
